Jantz was actually telling me the other day about how in Japan you're only allowed to use the kanji that kids learn in primary school plus some from another list to name your children,a nd I thought that was awesome. But then, they could still chose ancient readings if they wanted to make their kid 'stand out'. There's a girl in an idol group I enjoy whose name is written 愛 and pronounced Megumi. DX Like, it's an official reading and all, but there's no way that anyone ever gets her name right the first time. ^^ ;
